Our handpicked tutors - The process of matching a tutor with your child and their needs is an incredibly important aspect of our process. Every member of our team holds at least a high A-Level qualification within the subject that they teach, are all subject specialists as well as DBS checked.
Our experts range from KS1, 2, 3, 11+, GCSE and A-level specialists. We view our tutors as role models for our pupils, especially since every member of our team has been through the UK school and exam system themselves and can therefore provide their in-depth understanding and first-hand experience with mastering UK school content and exam technique.
Your child will only ever be matched with a tutor that we feel can deconstruct tricky and complicated concepts in a way that takes into consideration your child’s personal learning methods, strengths, and weaknesses. Each tutor can tailor their teaching to the specific needs of your child and adapt lessons to ensure that they are always feeling comfortable and confident.
Our tutors have a plethora of experience of working with children within the online tutoring environment and are fully equipped to teach children no matter their level of shyness, confidence, or ability.

Here at Explore Apollo Tuition, we are committed to providing engaging, interactive, and resourceful tuition lessons that transform your child’s approach to learning. Our sessions are much more than a simple video call- we ensure that their learning space is full of varied and exciting content, from in-depth diagrams, annotating and answering past paper questions together to interactive exercises.
How we ensure our lessons are fun, engaging and resourceful
The structure of our tutoring sessions is what makes us stand out from the rest as this method is scientifically proven to improve brain recollection and understanding. Each lesson is purposefully designed to incorporate a 3-phase lesson.
Knowledge, Application and Testing.
This allows our students to be guided through their learning with clear phases to each lesson. Ultimately, this provides a higher level of consistency to their learning and allows them to clearly recognise the information that they must be able to recall. This approach allows us to maximise time and eliminate any confusion for pupils, which allows them to truly flourish within a positive, confidence-building learning space.The testing phase simply allows our pupils to put their knowledge into action, by using real past exam questions for our 11+, GCSE and A-Level Students and past questions from KS1, 2 and 3 assessments. This phase is particularly useful as our tutors annotate, speak through, and support your child alongside this phase, providing their expertise and understanding of what examiners are looking for and specific tips and tricks!
Fluent communication and regular feedback
One of our priorities is ensuring a strong relationship between us and parents/carers. We pledge to always maintain our regular and frequent contact with our parents/carers so that your child’s learning journey is always supported and encouraged.Our termly feedback sheets are given to every pupil, detailing their individual progress, and updating parents/carers upon their many specific successes, whilst also reflecting upon their areas of improvement. We take pride in providing this in-depth level of feedback created just for your child, which considers the needs of your child.
We are always available for parents/carers to get in touch with us via WhatsApp, Email or Phone with anything related to the education of your child, we believe it is the support of parents/carers that can be the foundation of their success.

"Hello and welcome to Apollo Tuition. My name is Finn, and I am the owner and director of Explore Apollo Tuition. Apollo Tuition was founded five years ago with the goal of making online learning enjoyable, interesting, and interactive.
We are passionate about education and providing children and young adults with knowledge that will help their lifelong learning. These skills can be used in the classroom, the workplace, or in a practical situation.
We believe that critical coaching practises should be promoted in educational settings to improve student progress and accomplishment.
To promote student progress and accomplishment, we believe in encouraging critical coaching strategies in the educational setting. I am interested about helping young people in developing employable skills and promoting lifelong learning among students and adults.
We recognise that each child has a unique aim or reason for their "extra" support, which is why we have created a company that prioritises them. We feel that our 1-2-1 Online support enables us to ensure that each lesson meets the demands of our students; we will tailor our approach to each student's needs.
When you sign up to our tuition, you will have on-going support from myself and the tutoring team. This might be through phone calls, email, or message.

Finn had been helping my 11 year old with his English ready for his SATS. While he’s a bit of a Maths and Science whizz he has always lack enjoyment and confidence in English so was struggling somewhat.
My son has enjoyed working with Finn, he finds him fun and interesting and at the same time is clearly taking on board what he has been teaching him. He will now off his own back pick a word of the day to try and expand his vocabulary. In a recent parents evening I was told that his new found confidence in English is clear and that he is now getting more involved in class lessons rather than shying away and bumbling through. His quality of written work and correct use of punctuation has also come along a lot of the past few months. His teacher commented that the tutoring has certainly given him a boost and she expects him to go in and do well in his exams now.
