Welcome to Explore Apollo Tuition, a family-run tuition service built around giving every child the one-to-one support they need to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.
We offer Maths, English and Science tuition, with a fantastic team of tutors and teachers to suit every student. Our Core Tutors are high-achieving university students studying at some of the country’s top Russell Group universities. We also have Senior Tutors who have completed their degrees and are now studying for Master’s degrees and PhDs, alongside experienced, qualified teachers, including Heads of Year and GCSE and A Level exam markers.
As a family business, we believe every child should have access to great tuition. That’s why we offer a range of tutors, prices and lesson options, making it easier to find the right support for your family.

Every student is given a dedicated Learning Coordinator who is there to support you throughout your journey with us. You’ll have access to advice and guidance outside of lessons through our WhatsApp support chats, so you’re never on your own. We tailor every lesson to the individual student, making sure they receive the support that works best for them.

As Head of Maths & Science, I oversee our specialist tutors to ensure every lesson is engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether a student is aiming to improve classroom confidence, prepare for GCSEs or A Levels, or achieve the highest grades, our tutors adapt their teaching to help them reach their goals.
We believe that no two students learn in exactly the same way. Our lessons are personalised to suit each individual’s strengths, areas for development, and preferred learning style, allowing them to make steady and lasting progress.
To keep parents informed, every lesson is followed by personalised tutor feedback. This includes what was covered during the session, how the student performed, and the next steps in their learning, so you’ll always have a clear picture of their progress.

From WhatsApp updates to a secure parent portal, we keep you in the loop every step of the way.
All our online lessons are live, one-to-one sessions tailored to your child’s needs. We aim to make them as engaging and effective as face-to-face lessons.
Standard sessions are one hour long. This is the ideal length for focused learning at Primary, KS3, GCSE, and A Level. Longer sessions such as 90 minutes or 2 hours can be arranged if needed.
Your tutor is constantly assessing your child’s learning through topic-based and exam-style questions to identify where improvements are needed. You also have access to 24-hour WhatsApp support if you’d like progress updates at any time.
We use Microsoft Teams for all online tuition. You’ll receive a lesson booklet with your Teams link sent out before each lesson, making access quick and simple.
No, we’re proud to be a small, family-run tuition business. All of our tutors and teachers work directly for us, and we’ve known them for many years. We provide in-house training, and our tutors use only our own resources, so we can ensure everything is delivered to the highest standard.
